| A combination of training and pleasure diving at 8 Acre Lake. 4 open water students preparing for their course and a number of the Diving Leisure Leeds Club joining us for a fun day of diving led by Vanessa and Iain.
The Open Water group, including Charlotte Wilson, Aaron McKenna, Nicola Noble and Kate Barker, had their first experience of UK diving. Led by Alex, Gaz and Mike, the four divers worked very hard and deserved the signature "Sausage & Egg Butty" that Dave & Michelle from 8 Acre Lake are famous for.
The group pleasure diving consisted of Vanessa, Nicole, Sadie, Allison, Dave, Iain, Sharon, Shannon, Chris, Mark, Katrina and Mark. Keep checking the local diving section for our next UK diving adventure..... |  | |

| Diving Leisure Leeds Club Night @ TGI Fridays. For those of you that joined us for our first Diving Leisure club night in Leeds, West Yorkshire, we hope you all enjoyed yourself as much as we did. This was a great opportunity for you to meet the now extended dive instructional team of Nick Sykes, Cathy Preen and Iain Bowler who are now teaching with Diving Leisure Leeds.
For those of you that didn't manage to make it the dive club provided TGI Fridays style food for all and everyone bought themselves drinks. While the dive team were talking to you all we got everyone to fill in a survey about what type of diving people want to do, the results will be circulated soon. | Congratulations to Shannon who has just completed her PADI Jnr Open Water Diver course and Lauren who has completed her PADI Scuba Diver course. Both the girls worked very hard in challenging visibility at 8 Acre Lake, but fun was had by us all. With Alex, Mike and Chris there was plenty of staff on hand to lend assistance, but none was needed.
Diving Leisure is always very proud to certify any youngsters who take up diving at a young age. Shannon has even taken up the Master Scuba Diver Challenge and is already booked on to complete five specialties, which will put her nicely on her way to her target. Keep up the good work girls... | | |
