I have been contacted about a unique opportunity with history, mystery and diving. How would you like to take part in archaeological work on historic shipwrecks in the Dominican Republic?

ADMAT (the Anglo~Danish Maritime Archaeological Team) and ADMAT FRANCE are planning to run Maritime Archaeological field schools on the "Tile Wreck" (a presumed 1720's French merchant ship) in the Dominican Republic from July 2007.  These field schools are open to all qualified divers.  This is a rare opportunity for divers to take part in the discovery of history and to gain practical experience in Maritime Archaeological field work while adding to the knowledge of the making of the " New World ".

For further info see the ADMAT’s web-site on http://www.admat.org.uk/tw1.htm
